“…sooner or later, she had to give up the hope for a better past.” — Irvin Yalom.
Change may seem close to impossible when you’re stuck in a bad place. In my experience, it requires a LOT of time, effort, and courage. But change is possible. I have seen it happen and I would be honored to be a part of your journey of change towards your ideal self.
I am a firm believer of the interconnectedness of people and events, and how there may be multiple truths to our shared experiences. I lean toward exploring your upbringing, family relationships, and early life experiences that shape the person you are today. My approach may assist you in developing new perspectives toward your situation and empower you to create the changes you wish to see in yourself and those around you.
My priority in therapy is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and empowered. Having compassion, empathy and curiosity toward everyone and everything around me has allowed me to build that space with others, and I hope I would be able to do the same with you.
