Alvin Dan

“Life gets to us, the good, the bad and the ugly, and I believe there’s a reason for each of those moments.”
Given the space, unconditional positive regard, and some courage, we can take a step back and explore those areas in our lives and learn from it.
My goal through therapy is to assist you in:
- Identifying the area/s of concern that you have.
- Promote understanding and mindfulness on its effect towards your life.
- Journey with you in deciding how to proceed with that revelation according to your goals.
My prior work experience was on engaging with youth through leadership development and mentorship, from teenagers to campus students. Currently as an intern counselor, I wish to utilize that skill and provide professional support to youth and young working adults.
Outside of counseling, I enjoy playing music as a bassist in church, and going on hikes where I can enjoy nature. I enjoy a good book, and love having deep and challenging conversations about life and what it means to be human, preferably with a nice cup of coffee or chinese tea.
I believe my role as a counselor is in helping you find the direction towards the life that you want. With unconditional focus and unwavering support, let’s to journey together in through the emotions, thoughts and behaviors and find a healthy resolution.
